U.S. Travel's IPW Takes Over Anaheim

Visit St. Pete/Clearwater and 10 industry partners traveled to Anaheim for U.S. Travel’s IPW, its signature international travel show and the largest travel trade show in the U.S. Hundreds of business appointments with international and domestic travel buyers, as well as journalists, representing more than 70 countries were held at VSPC's booth. In addition, VSPC partnered with Visit Florida and four other Gulf destinations for a first-ever evening client event.

April Bed Tax Collections Continue Record Pace

St. Pete/Clearwater continues to set records for tourism with April visitors bringing in $6.7 million in Tourist Development Tax collections, an 11 percent year-over-year increase. In addition, STR had St. Pete/Clearwater leading the state in RevPAR growth with a 9.5 percent year-over-year increase. April’s success come on the heels of a strong first quarter.
