Senior CVB Sales Representative

This is specialized sales work with duties to sell Pinellas County with the express purpose of increasing sports travel and sports convention sales within Pinellas County. This is a very important management position that directs and conducts sales activities to the sport segment of the travel industry. This position will assist in the development and implementation of the annual Sports Commission sales plan and budget, which will successfully promote tourism in Pinellas County to tournament events rights owners, national governing bodies, collegiate training, club teams and local parks and recreation departments. An employee in this position will sell the destination to targeted state, regional and national accounts. Additionally, this position will recommend to the Sports Commission Director any ideas that will improve the sports sales and marketing effort. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Sales Director with considerable latitude for independent judgment and initiative. This position is reviewed by observation and results achieved, and periodic conferences and reports.
