St. Pete Beach Ranks No. 2 on Media Giant's Annual List of Visitors' Favorites

It’s another banner year for St. Pete/Clearwater’s beaches with St. Pete Beach taking No. 2 and Clearwater Beach No. 5 on the coveted annual Best Beach rankings – reaffirming St. Pete/Clearwater’s reputation of America’s Best Beaches.
It’s the first time St. Pete Beach has been recognized among the Top Beaches in the World, coming in at No. 16 – one of just two beaches in America on TripAdvisor’s global list – as voted by millions in TripAdvisor’s community.
“Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach continue to be the best beaches in America, and it’s special to have the millions who make up the TripAdvisor community reaffirm that year after year,” said Visit St. Pete/Clearwater Vice President of Digital & Communications Leroy Bridges. “And having two beaches in the top 5 underscores why we think St. Pete/Clearwater is home to America’s Best Beaches.”
The annual list is voted on by members of the world's largest online travel community. Winners are determined based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and averaged ratings gathered over a 12-month period. TripAdvisor is the world's largest travel site reaching more than 490 million unique monthly visitors and has more than 730 million reviews operating in 49 countries.
