Countdown to Super Bowl LV In Tampa Bay Is On!

It’s been 11 years since Tampa Bay hosted the Super Bowl and a lot has changed on both sides of the Bay. Visit St. Pete/Clearwater’s Communications team joined Visit Tampa Bay and the Tampa Bay LV Super Bowl Host Committee in Miami last week at Radio Row to get media excited for Super Bowl 55, and to discuss the exciting changes that the area has seen since 2009. Check out some of the projects that have transformed Tampa Bay since Super Bowl 43.


VSPC Hosts International Inbound Travel Association 2020 Summit

VSPC’s Leisure Travel team welcomed nearly 200 tour operators and suppliers to the destination this week as part of the 2020 IITA Summit. The four-day event hosted at the Sirata Beach Resort included one-on-one appointments, networking events and educational seminars. The week also included educational tours showcasing St. Pete/Clearwater beyond the beach and co-sponsored evening events with VISIT FLORIDA and Visit Tampa Bay, leading to a successful summit.


2020 Beer Marketing & Tourism Conference Hits Our 'Gulp Coast'

St. Pete/Clearwater’s craft beer scene and destination was on full display this week as St. Pete played host to the Beer Marketing & Tourism Conference. More than 200 destination marketers, brewers, media and tour operators attended sessions covering all things craft beer and experienced St. Pete/Clearwater’s growing product.


VSPC Maximizes Exposure at Florida Huddle

Last week, VSPC and more than 10 hotel partners headed to Jacksonville to attend the annual Florida Huddle, the official travel trade show for the state. During this three-day event, qualified domestic and international buyers; wholesalers; and top Florida destinations, hotels/resorts, attractions and event suppliers came together to buy and sell travel, while our team continued to showcase the St. Pete/Clearwater area.
