Pinellas County Face Covering Ordinance 20-14 Guidance for Restaurants and Bars
The owner, operator, manager, and employees of bars and restaurants are all responsible for making sure that everyone follows the new rules.
Every employee preparing or serving food or beverage, or having customer contact, must wear a face covering indoors and outdoors.
This includes kitchen or food preparation staff, bartenders, servers, etc., indoors and out.
Keep six feet between parties.
Restaurants and bars must position chairs and tables so that parties of one or more are separated by six feet and customers are not standing at the bar or congregating in any area.
Serve customers who are seated only.
No standing at the bar. Serving patrons only when seated will help maintain social distancing.
People waiting to be seated must stay six feet apart.
Any groups of patrons waiting must remain socially distanced in groups not larger than 10, all of whom must be companions.
Never seat more than 10 people at a table.
Customers do not need to wear face coverings when dining or consuming beverages.
Keep tables and parties six feet apart to reduce risk.
